Singapore Zoological Gardens (Part I)
I visited the Singapore Zoological Gardens and Night Safari recently. It's been a very long time since I last visited the Zoo. In fact, I can't really remember when was the last time I visited the Zoo. Anyway, I liked animals and the trip was really a wonderful experience.

The first animals we saw were otters. Otters are semi-aquatic fish-eating mammals.

Next stop we visited was the famous white tiger. The tiger just strolled along its enclosure and occasionally jumped into the water to swim.
P/S: I find that blogger editor really sucks when comes to arranging images.

Some photos of Tel Aviv, Israel (Part II)
The following are some photographs taken during my trip to Tel Aviv, Israel a few years ago.

Can't really remember what are the above places. My manager liked to bring us to the various beaches of Tel Aviv during the weekend.

The above photo was taken at some kind of flea market near my hotel in Tel Aviv. There were quite a lot of artists performing there and a lot of handicrafts for sale.

The above two photos were taken from my hotel room's window. Apparently, there was a bomb report just outside the building which was beside the hotel that I was staying. The police cars cordoned off the area and the bomb specialists seemed to use some kind of robots to clear the suspected bomb area. I wished I had a better zoom camera at that time so that I could take clearer photos of the process. Luckily in the end it was just a false alarm and the traffic went back to normal. But that was indeed a special experience for someone coming from a peaceful country.

Photos at Jaffa
Below are some photographs I took during a trip to Jaffa, Israel. Jaffa is an ancient port city at the south of Tel Aviv. It is believed to be one of the oldest port city in the world.

Some photos of Tel Aviv, Israel (Part I)
I just found some old photographs that I took when I was working in Israel several years ago. I took these photographs using an automatic film camera, so I actually needed to scan them individually into digital format.

Couldn't really remember the exact locations of all these photos. The above two were taken at some beaches near Tel Aviv. I used to jog along the beaches during evening time.

The above first picture was taken at some small amusement park in Israel. The latter one I wasn't too sure.

Walk along Henderson wave
Recently, I took a walk along the henderson wave. We started from Harbour Front MRT and walked along the Marang Trail. The first portion of the trail was a series of upslope stairways reaching around 70 metres in height.

We could see cable cars along the way.

Saw the above house along the way, thought it was rather beautiful so took a picture of it.

Finally, reaching the Henderson Waves as above. Henderson Waves is a wave-pattern bridge connecting Mount Faber park to Telok Blangah Hill park. At 36m above Henderson Road, it is Singapore's highest pedestrian bridge and offers good views of the city and the southern islands.

Took the above two pictures from both sides of the Henderson Waves.

We proceed our walk after the Henderson Waves. Above picture showed the 1.3km elevated steel zig-zag walkway through the secondary forest of Telok Blangah Hill Park that connects to Alexandra Arch. We stopped over at Hort Park, took some rest and walked back towards Harbour Front MRT. The one-way trip took around 1.5 hours.

Lake Zurich
Lake Zurich, as the name implies, is a lake in Switzerland, extending southeast of the town of Zurich. Geographically, Lake Zürich is located in the southwestern part of the canton of Zürich. To the east of the lake are two minor lakes, Greifensee (Lake Greifen) and Pfäffikersee (Lake Pfäffikon). There are a number of passenger ferry services, noticeably the small auto ferry between Horgen and Meilen. The below photographs were taken when I was on board one of those ferry services at Lake Zurich.

Switzerland always give me a peaceful and serene feeling. Simply from a scenic point of view, it looks like an ideal place for retirement.

More photos of Zurich, Switzerland
I remembered it was very cold in Zurich even though it was April already. The photos were taken using an automatic film camera.

It was a Sunday and there was a little bit of drizzling then. I took a ferry around the Lake Zurich. Will post more photos of Lake Zurich in my next post.

Some photos of Zurich, Switzerland
I was tidying my room recently and managed to dig out some really old photographs that I took when I was in Zurich, Switzerland a few years ago.

The first picture I remembered was taken just outside one of the train station. It was already around April but the weather was still very cold and the mountains were still covered with snow.
Switzerland is really a beautiful country and I would like to visit it again in future.
